Before arriving in Europe, bananas are grown in Costa Rica. The banana trees are planted by the bananeros who then protect the fruit. Once bananas reach the required size, they are harvested and a new life starts for them.
Once harvested and selected for their quality, bananas leave the farm, are loaded onto vessels and cross the ocean. Once in Europe, they are checked again and delivered perfectly ripe to your local store.
